Shihan Sen (Senthil Thiyagarajan)
Shihan
Sen started karate in early 1980 in South India. He trained
under Sensei Kalaimani and practicing karate for around 30 years. He is currently a
6th Degree (ROKUDAN) Black Belt in Shito-Ryu Karate-Do and founder of Champion
Karate Academy. He is also the Chief
Instructor and President of the Champion Karate Academy and
North Texas Shuko-Kai International Karate-Do. He currently
holds WKF KATA Judge A, WKF Kumite Judge B,
USA-NKF National Referee A
in Kumite, National Judge A in Kata.
He had participated over 500 karate tournaments including
nationals and various internationals and won so many titles.
He won the India National Champion title for 10 years
consecutively and a National record holder of winning 3 Gold
and 2 Silver Medals at Bhopal, India in 2000.
Recently,
he won a Gold Medal in Men
Advanced Team Kata senior division in USA National
Championship 2012, Florida. Also he won a Gold Medal in Master's
Kata division in USA Open 2009, an international karate
championship held at Las Vegas, USA. He also won the
2008 INDIA National Kata Champion title in the All
India Karate-Do Federation championship held at Kolkota,
India.
He also represented INDIA in the 19th
World Karate-do Federation championship 2008 held in
Tokyo, Japan.
His dedication towards karate-do, vast
tournament experience and special training skills
helps him to produce more champions for champion karate
academy.

Jun-Shihan Pon (Ponmalar Senthil)
Jun-Shihan
Pon, Black Belt 5th Degree, started karate in 1986 in South India.
She trained
under Sensei Kalaimani and practicing karate for around
20 years. She is the co-founder of Champion
Karate Academy and North Texas Shuko-Kai
International Karate-Do.
She had participated
over 300 karate tournaments including nationals and various
internationals and won so many titles. She won the India
National Champion title for 4 years consecutively. She
currently serving as the
General Secretary and Administrative director of
North Texas Shuko-Kai
International Karate-Do & Champion Karate Academy. She is also one of
the key
instructor of Champion Karate Academy and serves as CKA's
official coach in various Texas State and USA National
Championships. Other than karate-do, she was also a national
player in the sport called "KABBADI".
Sensei Sura (Suresh Raman)
Sensei Sura started
karate in early 1984 in South India. He
trained under Soke Moses Thilak- Founder and
technical director Alan Thilak Shito Ryu
Karate India, and later joined with Sensei
Kalaimani and practicing karate for
around 27 years. He is currently a 5th
Degree Black Belt
in Shito-Ryu Karate-Do. He also trained
various martial Arts like Jujitsu, Iai-Do,
Ken-Do,Tai Chi and Raja yoga -member of
Self realization Fellowship- Los Angles
He had participated over 400 karate
tournaments including nationals and various
internationals and have won many titles. He
has won the India National Champion title
for 7 times, and have represented
India in
various World Championships and Asian
Champioships.
Recently, he won a Gold
Medal in Seniors Men Advanced Team Kata division in USA
National Championship 2012, Florida
Sempai Archana Ganesan
Sempai Archana started Karate training in
1988 in Alan-Thilak
Shito-Ryu Karate-Do school in Chennai, India. Her passion to this
art form has kept her close to this sport for the past 20
years. After training under Sensei Sen in Champion Karate
Academy, she received her
Black Belt and has been teaching Karate in CKA for the past
one year. She teaches students of all levels of proficiency
as well as specializes in teaching kids. She currently
teaches in Lewisville TX.
Apart from Karate, she also has been practicing Kick-Boxing
for the past 3 years. She also has close to 10 years
experience in Yoga (Patanjali style) under Krishnamacharya
Yoga Mandiram, Chennai, India.
